Inspiration for these small mosaics came from the  SFMOMA show of Richard Diebenkorn paintings. I create the abstract compositions initially with pencil on paper.  Then I choose colors from my stained glass scrap collection. Each piece of glass is carefully cut and shaped to fit. The mosaics are set into a solid bronze frame with an oil-rubbed finish. Including frame, each mosaic measures 3 x 3 inches  (7.5 x 7.5 cm). Hangs flush on wall. Signed on back.
