Sold pieces in the Invasive Plant Series.
Picture
Thistle Landscape, 22 x 24 x 1", sold
Picture
Quackgrass and Corn, 12 x 12 x 1", rusted steel frame, sold. Quackgrass seed heads originated from Europe but now are considered a world wide weed. Cornfields create a destructive monoculture. I've combined the two because both can be considered invasive.
Picture
Cheatgrass, 12 x 9 x 1", rusted steel frame, sold. Cheatgrass, considered a highly invasive weed, originates from Europe. I found the undulating seed heads visually intriguing. I've included origin stamps from dishes to highlight this plant's journey across the Atlantic.
